Gogh is a geometric sans serif with a modern look and traditional spirit.

It blends evenly without overly distracting the reader, yet still keeps a rich and distinctive character. The generous x-height, easily distinguishable glyph forms, and open terminals help the eye perceive a block of text smoothly, making it clearly legible. Gogh thrives when used both on-screen or on print media.

Gogh type family consists of 10 weights from Hairline to Black and their matching Italics. Gogh is also available as a fully functional variable font, which gives unlimited opportunity to explore typography without the restrictions of predefined weights. Gogh Variable is also the best option if used on the web as it has a much-reduced size compared to the original font family. 

Regardless of which Gogh family you choose, the typeface covers a broad spectrum of languages, as it includes Extended Latin and Cyrillic. And it also comes with an alternative stylistic set that will completely change the overall look of a paragraph, giving it a more contemporary and display appearance. In addition to that, Gogh type family is enriched with an extensive list of OpenType features for advanced typographic layout, including standard and discretionary ligatures, tabular and small figures, fractions, language localizations, case sensitive punctuation, and more.

Designed between italic and script styles

Airco is a typeface designed between italic and script styles. The letterform finish is rounded. Designed ultra slanted (27°), the shapes evoke a fast and assertive movement. The result is a human typeface, dynamic, that will visually work well in technology and sport, without ever being dry, rigid or dehumanized. The structure of the letters is influenced by Renaissance italics, at the difference that in the case of Airco, the lowercases and capitals are visually homogeneous thanks to the giants lowercases. In fact, the default numerals can be used in capital as well lowercases settings.

Audace was born as a response to a simple brief: how to visually express human interaction and technology with abstract forms? The starting point is a humanistic sanserif, to which are added external references: design pieces, furniture, buildings. Architects shape our world with the intention to reconnect nature, human and address a perfect functionality. Not so far to typeface design which combines a personal vision and ensures good legibility in a certain context.

Audace — like the works of those artists, designers, architects — is clearly influenced by the tension of the line, the play with negative space, the dynamics, the surprise, the nature that will influence the shapes of the letters. So if a v is asymmetrical, and the y based on similar asymmetry but in reverse, these two shapes help to distinguish from one to the other. This is a consequence of the influence of forms from design and art in the design of the Audace. And this small example illustrates the confrontations of the designer’s influences: the search for the most unique shapes, but without compromising on function: to be read, to be legible, even at very small size in the worst conditions.

Several titling typefaces made their appearance at the start of the 20th century, notably Acier and Bifur, both created by French poster artist Cassandre. Later, in the Netherlands, S.H. de Roos designed a version of Inline for its Nobel family called, naturally, Nobel Inline. AW Conqueror Inline pays homage to this beautiful version.

Packing more copy in a narrow space is the main reason for using a condensed type. Characters with a more ovular shape tend to be less wide than their circular counterparts and will allow for more letters per line. In narrow columns for example, this typeface can provide up to 25% more copy than the regular typeface in the same space.

Another reason is when a larger type size is called for — used sparingly it is useful for headings or headlines.

For emphasis, narrower letters can provide a stark contrast in the flow of reading, creating impact while retaining typographic character. Condensed types can specially useful in tables and charts because typically both use few words in each block. If space now allows, you may think about the luxury of a larger point size. This optimizes space while keeping your typography more easily legible.
